So I got fired a couple weeks ago (they're restructuring the position- I didn't do anything wrong), but my boss set my termination date for OCTOBER. Is this an ok thing to do? I don't know if she thinks she's doing me a favor, or just doesn't want her insurance to go up after I collect unemployment. Also, the discretion she promised me didn't really happen and everyone in the office knows. I feel like I'm in Hell. I'm desperately trying to find a new job, but it's really harsh out there. Is there anything I can do?
