About pluging linksys 2.4GHz 802.11b Wireless Access Point Router with 4-port switch?

so... you're using a power adapter that doesn't supply the right voltage/amperage ratio? is there a reason you don't use the proper power adapter? my first guess would be it can not operate with that adapter... my second would be it's friend now because of the wrong adapter.
